Lobuche Peak (6119m)
First Step into Himalayan Climbing
Overview
Lobuche Peak is a stunning alpine climb nestled in Nepal’s Everest region — offering a more technical challenge than Island Peak. The route includes glacier crossings, fixed ropes, and exposed ridgelines, making it ideal for climbers with some prior experience or those looking to level up. With panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam from the summit, Lobuche delivers an unforgettable high-altitude experience, supported by expert guides and a gradual acclimatization route through the Khumbu Valley.
When is the best time to climb?
The best seasons for Lobuche Peak are spring (March–May) and autumn (October–November). These windows provide clear skies, stable conditions, and the best safety for technical sections on ice and rock. Weather in winter can be harsh, and the monsoon months (June–September) are not recommended due to rain and cloud cover.
