Climb Kilimanjaro (5895m)
7-Days Machame Route

Overview

The Machame Route is one of the most scenic and rewarding ways to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak at 5895 meters. This 7-days climbing begins in lush rainforest and passes through four distinct climate zones before reaching the summit of Uhuru Peak. Known for its excellent acclimatization profile and stunning views, the Machame Route is a favorite among both first-time trekkers and experienced climbers.

When is the best time to climb?

The best time to climb Kilimanjaro is during the dry seasons: January to February and June to October. Both periods offer good weather and clear views, but there are some differences. January–February tends to be slightly cooler, with a higher chance of snow near the summit — making it a great choice for those seeking a more alpine feel. June–October is warmer and drier overall, with more stable conditions and higher foot traffic. The rainy seasons (March–May and November) are less recommended due to slippery trails and rainy cover.
